This policy covers every Lock&Learn app: trivia, Chinese, and Japanese. They are built so that your data stays yours. The short version: we do not collect anything.
The Lock&Learn apps have no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no servers of their own. Everything an app knows, such as which topics or levels you enabled, which facts or words you saved, and your streak, is stored on your device and shared only with that app’s own widgets through Apple’s App Group storage. It never leaves your phone.
If you turn on notifications for new questions or words, they are scheduled locally on your device. No push servers are involved, and they stay off unless you enable them.
If you choose to request a new topic, the app opens your own email app with a pre-filled draft. Sending it is up to you, and the email arrives like any ordinary email you would write yourself.
Lock&Learn+ purchases, whether the yearly plan or the lifetime unlock, are handled entirely by Apple through your App Store account. We never see your payment details, and buying does not create an account with us. Your entitlement lives with your Apple account, which is also how Restore Purchases works on a new device.
The Lock&Learn apps do not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date at the top.
